Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?

Every year we get the same question… Should Christians celebrate Halloween? If we shouldn’t, does that mean we need to opt-out of all Halloween activity? If we can, why do so many Christians condemn it? Where should Christians (and churches) draw the line?

At the core, what is Halloween? I’m not asking, “What was Halloween?” But what has it become today? It’s hard to argue against the obvious—it’s a celebration of death. Skeletons, zombies, blood, decay, ghosts, and nooses don’t seem to be in alignment with a holy God. What does the Bible say about participating in activities like this?
